One of the reserve's key objectives is to preserve pristine wildlife. In the nature reserve therefore it is prohibited to:

  • pick plants, seeds, berries or mushrooms;
  • hunt or fish;
  • bring pets;
  • break trees and bushes, violate the integrity of forest floor;
  • violate natural processes and wildlife: destroy anthills, get close to birds' nests and animals' holes.
If you find a nest with eggs or hatchlings, don't stick around.

While you're staying around and taking pictures, adult birds can't return and eggs or hatchlings can be exposed to excessive cold. And some birds seeing a human in close proximity to the nest can even abandon their egg laying.

If you find a nest with eggs or baby birds, don't stay next to it to watch or take photos.

Until you leave, grown up birds don't come back and eggs or baby birds can get too cold. And some grown up birds can even leave their nests forever.
If you meet a wild animal, don't come closer - it can be dangerous.

When you meet a large carnivore, stand upright, flap your arms and speak loudly. Never run away or turn your back on the animal. Slowly move backwards increasing the distance.
