Protection of forests against fires
In order to prevent forest fires, limit their spread and successfully fight against them we are leading our activities in different directions:

Forest fires spread limitation:

  • furnishing of the forests roads, which provide free ride for automotive transport carrying fire-extinguishing loads and equipment; setting of entrances with firefighting tankers and motorizes pumps providing natural water sources.
2

Forest fires prevention:

  • forest firefighting propaganda, lectures on fire safety in the forests for local communities, publications on the importance of forests in the local mass media;

  • placement of firefighting booklets, printed product production concerning nature conservation and careful attitude to it. We regularly place the information about firefighting periods at the nature reserve's website and in official groups of the nature reserve on social media.
