Northern Lights Online
The auroral camera [from the Latin Aurora Borealis, polar lights], which monitors the northern lights, was installed in August 2021 on the Pasvik Environmental School building in Rajakoski village. It lies at the junction of three borders: Russia, Norway and Finland. The camera allows online broadcasting with image updating every ten seconds.

Northern lights observation should be done during dark hours, in our case from mid-August to the end of April. In addition to the northern lights the cameras allow you to observe other interesting phenomena: light columns and pearl clouds.
